The spirit of the season

It was so wonderful to be with family over the holidays. I caught myself several times beginning to give “helpful advice” and quickly zipped my lips. Of course the lip zipper didn’t work a few times, but I was better this year than in times past. This year I just enjoyed being with the people I love. I gave up on being perfect and let everyone help in their own ways. The dishes were done by other people and they were just as clean as though I had done them myself. Boy, was I dumb in years past. People are so much more important than things. I am blessed.

Hi Sally, thanks for the information on using rice cookers for more than rice! I make chicken soup and it was so easy. I’m going to try ribs soon!!

Hi Sally, I found your site long time ago and had to thank you for the speedy meals you dreamed up. I now cook for others using my rice cooker and they are so amazed. Thank You is not enough when you have helped me get a meal on the table in 20 minutes of less. I now have 2 rice cookers and 3 slow cookers. I make all kinds of things and you have taken the fear out of learning to use them. I’m a wife and mother of 2 adult kids and a very busy household.

Blessings to you and praise on a job well done! Thanks a Million!
