Don’t heat up your kitchen in the summer

When it’s hot outside, you don’t want to heat up your kitchen with boiling water on the stove. A great way to avoid that is to use your rice cooker any time you would boil something on the stove.

You can boil your corn on the cob in your rice cooker. You can hard boil your eggs for deviled eggs in your rice cooker. You can steam your fresh broccoli.

You can even make your fresh berry pie glaze in your rice cooker – and it will taste better than than horrible artificial slime you buy in the produce section of your supermarket.
