Egg Stuff

Ray and Tim like this one. It’s so easy, kids can make it. It’s great for brunch.

4 eggs, lightly beaten
4 slices bread, torn into bite-size pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup milk
1 package pre-cooked sausage links (8 ounce)
salt and pepper

Cut the sausage links in fourths. Put sausage and onion in rice cooker pan and turn the cooker on to cook. Brown the sausage and onions, stirring occasionally. When the sausage and onions are brown, add the milk, bread and eggs. Add salt and pepper. Stir well. Be sure the cooker is still turned on to cook. Cover and let it cook. After a few minutes, turn the mixture over and cook some more. When the cooker turns itself down to warm, let the meal stand for about 15 minutes. It will brown on the bottom.

We actually let a batch stand in the cooker (turned on to warm) all day. It was still great! Ray says to tell you that they didn’t taste like “steam table food!”
